Too much walking.
Palatine Hill.
We spent today’s class examining the Roman Forum.. and spent our free afternoon climbing the Palatine Hill and visiting the Colosseum.

The best seat to view the Forum, and away from other tourists.

Temple of Antoninus Pius and Faustina. The columns are monolithic, carved of one single piece.

Panoramic reflection.

Hijacking a couple marble pebbles.

Walking to class, stopped to view the Altare della Patria and jot down some sketches while we waited for our teacher to arrive.
